Frankie Teardrop is Doug Ferguson being... Doug Ferguson. Amidst the silliness is a serious electronic work, very much in the Berlin School mode. There's also some "primitive" electronics being deployed, pointing to the French school. I'm pretty sure he's using a Moog Prodigy, which I bought from him a few years later. And later sold to Ron Boots.
Doug Ferguson was a fan of our radio show on KERA in Dallas in the late 80s and early 90s. He was a self-taught musician with a keen interest in both electronic and Zeuhl music. He sadly passed away at a very young age in 2002.
